Free-spirit Cicci's single life upends while serving on a jury when Todd, a conservative juror, objects to a life-saving treatment for Alia, a queer woman of color. Their destinies unravel to reveal they're inextricably intertwined. Are love and justice blind?
It’s a meaningful, entertaining and heartfelt social justice film. A combination of “You’ve Got Mail” meets “The Verdict."

This film will be led by Bay Area filmmaker, writer, director and producer C.M. Conway (please see below), featured in numerous media outlets. Her aim is to entertain while revealing a story about trying to find one's humanity in a sea of influences; and shining a light on the rights of the LGBTQ+ community. According the the Human Rights Campaign, over 75 anti-LGBTQ+ bills have been signed into law, and 500 bills have been introduced in the U.S. in 2023.
Your donation directly supports production and post-production of our film. With your help, we are slated to film in the Bay Area in August 2024. Our cinematographer is the multiple award-winning Lisa Stoll, who collaborated with us on our prior film now on Prime Video (scroll down page).
If your organization serves the LGBTQ+ community and would like to partner with us and receive a portion of our fundraising, please fill out our LGBTQ+ Organization Form.
Uplift the stories of minorities and an indie film that is a champion of diversity, gender equity and inclusiveness.
